Help finding a good poke mage for mid and support

So ive been playing this game for awhile now and ive tried a lot of different play styles and champions. Ive tried FOTM champions and ive tried out of meta play styles and champions, all with the hope of climbing out of low elo.

I used to try to stick with tank bruiser tops and supports like . I really enjoyed that type of play style but I feel like being a front line champion may not be for me. I tend to get excited or confused and mess up. Some champions are more forgiving but in the heat of the moment a mis click or any mistake can screw up an entire team fight. I have found that I really enjoy the mage play style of sitting back focusing on positioning and priority targets. My question is who is a good champion I can use Mid and Support that can poke well but also burst.

I hate her with a passion, but try Lux. Lux

I couldn't tell you any strats. But from experience on the other side. She's unstoppable in the right hands.

the only champs i can think of that are viable as both mid and support

Lulu and Sona are best ones I can think of. Bard is an option too.

Morgana Zyra These are poke mages that no one will question. Lux supp gets plenty of hate, Annie is a burst mage, Brand is basically a burst mage, etc.

i like both morg and zyra, I think i will try lux as well. I seem to always have issues with zyra mid tho. I tend to get caught out alot with her

the only issue i have with karma is i always seem to fall off quickly, must be my builds

Karma is suuuuuuper strong and can dominate any lane. I wouldn't play Zyra mid without experience (I main Zyra mid) because of her low mobility. Unless you have pretty good confidence on her you'll die every gank.

Zyra is a great support though.

It's been a long time since I've played, but I used to really enjoy Zyra and Karma support, and somewhat mid.
