Do the Research or Don't Complain

I'm an avid reader of surrender@20, so I keep up with pretty much every notable comment a Riot employee makes. they acknowledge most of what the player base is saying, even though they sometimes don't always send changes to the PBE immediately. I can understand that, this game is way more complex than "It's overpowered, let's hotfix in this change that XxPussySlay3r98xX gave us in his Boards post. What's the worst that could happen?"

[zombie-brand-facepalm] What I don't understand is the complaints.

The top post as I'm writing this is about Ekko's insane ban rate written yesterday. Is it insane? Yes. Is it justified by Tank Ekko's insane power? Yes. Are there 10 day old Ekko balance changes on the PBE right now that Gypsylord talked about 2 weeks ago? YES.

Riot knows Ekko's base stats are too high, and they're changing that to compensate. They are working on the problem right now. Anyone who even kind of looked into the issue would see that, and yet there's all these people complaining. This happens every time there's a big balance issue. EVERY time. That's like if the waiter is on the way with your order and you're just sitting at the table with your eyes closed banging on the table and yelling "FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" If all you do is read the Patch Notes, of course you'll think Riot doesn't respond to players!
