So, with season seven already having started I decided to utilize the new Replay function to get some of my recent highlights into videos. I'm currently playing in mid Plat to low Diamond, sitting at Plat III

How do you manage to have so much success with him in high elo (people are lower than they should be after placements) if he's as underpowered as people on this board let on?

Thanks for sharing the clips. With the inclusion of autofill at all times/elos I was thinking about expanding my champion pool for my off roles. How does Morde do into ranged top laners like Quinn? I'd check champs.gg but it has no matchup info for him at the moment.

The post juggernaut rework mordekaiser struggles in lane against any ranged, particularely vs quinn. You are basically done vs her, you should ask for jungler help or try to roam asap, but basically in a 1v1 lane phase you are fucked.

That doesn't represent a problem tho since ranged picks top are very rare and they don't know morde is countered by them so they are not gonna counterpick you that often

These people are 120 times the op :P

When Rito said Morde mains where out of line, it means they know that Morde is in a bad spot, but since us main main Morde, we are good with him despite huge disadvantages.

Only seasoned Mordes play Mord=Huehue skills=buffing good Morde players=OP

What's your definition of "good" though? If an experienced player can maintain 53%~ win rate or higher against players who were formerly diamond last season the champion can't be that bad. Balancing high skill cap champions around the most experienced players isn't a bad thing imo.

Not saying he doesn't need buffs, but It seems like minor stat/QoL buffs would be appropriate. Like the frequently requested base ms buff.

Because I'm a god :^) On a serious note though, he works well if the enemy has no clue on how to deal with him and you get the team comp to benefit him.

Especially with something to allow Mordekaiser to stick or someone he can fight alongside with he becomes a monster, he falls short in doing things on his own though how things currently stand. But yeah, he's not trash like say Vladimir or Azir outside of pro play.

As for ranged tops, well, they're some of his hardest lanes but if you play smart you can shrug off most of their poke. Quinn for example just bullies almost any top but stuff like Gnar, Liss and Kennen are somewhat of his easier matchups.

Given how uncommon he is this probably holds a lot of truth. I think I can probably count the number of times I've played against Morde in ranked on one hand.
