Got on League after a few days and got two Icons from Riot. All I can say is thank you! I'll keep trying to be a good noodle.

Gifting notifications were disabled in the new client and was fixed yesterday; all gift notifications you should've received since the last time you logged into the old client would've shown up at the same time.
