Opinions on new items and item buff/nerfs?

If this and last season is anything to go by, when season 5 rolls out, there will be so many new items in general that it will feel likea new game again. Riot also can take more risks at the start of the season, since there are fewer tournaments going on. Just wait, changes will happen in a couple months here. Whether they do what you're asking for, I'm not sure, but I don't think Riot is willing to support the "protect the adc" game strategy again.
