#The Objective

In short, we'd like to see more large community projects for the League playerbase. The made by players for the players shenanigans that we can all enjoy and rally around. There are many out even now that are flat out awesome, but run into various problems like visibility, support and resources. We are a group of people willing to put time, effort and talent towards those ends.

#The Reason

We all play League for a few reasons. It’s fun, it’s challenging, maybe a bunch of our friends play, so, why not?

Then we have people like you, who come to the Boards under your own motivations. You read posts, (probably) yell at Riot for something, or even just come to post a meme or fifteen (looking at you Fish!). Needless to say though, just by coming here you go that extra inch to see what’s going on around the game, not necessarily just in it.

And then there are a select few that go that extra 63359 inches. The ones who go out of their way to give back to the league community. Even in the face of everything that we’ve come to know about it, the negativity, the circular logic, the incredibly adversity born from massive diversity that we see here everyday. They’re not superhuman (at least I think), most aren’t professionals. Hell, most of them aren’t paid a cent to do what they do. But they do it anyway. Whether it’s for fun, to help others or a lot/little of both; they’re investing time and talent for our benefit.

As such, I come here representing a small group of dedicated individuals hoping to allow these awesome people to not only help each other but also help themselves. We are the: League Community Project Team. A 100% volunteer player populated community team that looks to network project leaders together as well as help anyone looking to start a project themselves.

#The Projects

We want to help out as many large community projects as we can, and there are projects out right now that some of you have maybe not heard of that deserve, at the very very least, recognition.

The Impact

Our goal is to not only help currently existing projects but work to spur new initiatives around which we can all rally. If you have an idea (and a good bit of determination) we would love to help, and you can expect projects directly from the LCP team as well!

Many of you can help out with little to no effort as well! Tell us about cool community building projects you’ve come across. Many, many league players find these gems over the years but have little motivation or means to support them. We hope to be that means. So if you’ve come across a great community project similar to the projects we’ve listed above, tell us! Shout it out!
