Unfairly Banned by Automated System

I just got instantly banned by some League of Legends automated system for what I assume to be mass reports from my last game. To made a long story short. I usually play Talon botlane in normals and it tends to work out for me so long as the person I'm playing with works with me. The problem with this game is the Graves I was playing with started raging as soon as the game started over me going Talon botlane and tried to find any excuse to trash talk me, regardless of how well I did. He even resorted to trolling just to spite me. He would try to bait me into going into fights with him, watch me assist, then run back and spam laugh. He even refused to work with the rest of the team at one point and just do nothing but farm for like 10-15 minutes. This guy was LITERALLY just trolling around, being toxic, and assisting the enemy team simply because of something so trivial as me going Talon bot instead of playing the meta and being a support champ. The other players on my team were a bit iffy about me going Talon bot the game started but then some of them sided with me when they realized that Graves was intentionally throwing a game over it. The situation was eventually brought into all chat were the enemy team decided to side with him and.... justify his trolling simply because I didn't choose a support champ... Graves and some of their allies agreed to report me and welp... You know the rest. I'd also like to note that the ban that kicked me off the client happened only after the enemy Jinx said something along the lines of "Well I don't like being made a fool of" when I asked her why she would support someone trolling after explaining to her how I did nothing wrong in the post game lobby. I won't go into too much details with our conversations since it only showed my posts in my Email. Can a staff member please post the game's entire chat log? It shows exactly how toxic and biased the community can be over someone not playing the Meta... so much so that they justified trolling and sided with it.

EDIT: The log doesn't show me being toxic to ANYONE in the entire game. It evens hows me practically begging our Graves to move on from me being Talon bot and just work with me.

What you just now saw is what I bring to the table
You don't necessarly need much CC if I can eliminate my ADC's problem instantly
If I can burst jinx to the point of her dying or needing to run to safetly without putting my ADC in danger, why do I need tons of CC? This is common logic.

This type of behavior is unacceptable in this community. When there is nothing good to say, don't say anything at all. As a community, we also don't believe that retaliation is an appropriate response, so in cases where there is retaliation, both players receive penalties. This is the only warning this account will receive. Further examples of toxic behavior can result in permanent closure of your account.

Mass reports don't matter. 1 reported game is 1 reported game whether it's 1 report or 9.

If you got a warning for permanent account closure, then you have most definitely been extremely toxic in a majority of your games.

All you have to do is have some self-control and not flame others in game regardless of circumstance, and you're good.

There's a lot of things on the table regarding the reason why you were banned. You can take your pick out of what I can see in the logs.

• Instigating/antagonizing other player(s) in your game. Namely your ADC, which it appears you're purposely taking his CS. (You even have a quote in the chat logs acknowledging that you're playing support. "But I did good as sup") • Absurd amount of chatting/typing going on and could be considered trolling. If you have this much time to type, instead of focusing on winning the game with warding or something useful then you shouldn't be playing this game. • Harassment by calling people names. "Dumb", "Stupid", "Spoiled Brat". Even though it's not as verbally offensive as using foul language, the intent is still there.

That's clearly visible in the chat logs, but just from that you can kinda get an idea of what was happening in the game. It's not always chat logs that get people banned, it's also their behavior in-game and unfortunately I have to agree with Riot's ruling. I know that I would not want you to support me in my games with this kind of behavior.

I never thought I would see a thread like this... and agree with it. Honestly, I don't see what you did wrong. You were understandably rather annoyed at this Graves, and as far as I can tell, you had a decent KDA.

Also, assassins work in botlane. Just got my ass kicked by Ashe/Fizz yesterday.

But I know for a fact I have not been toxic in any games, especially this one. That's why I'm requesting an entire chat log to show the toxicness of the people who reported me. If there was a game where I was toxic, I'd like that to be shown to. What you see in my first post is exactly what the email said I was banned for and I seriously don't understand how that is a justifiable ban. Did you really read my post or did you just skip to replying, Valkyrie? I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything but if you read it.. you should see that the ban was so nonsensical that it had to have been done by a bot.

The fact that you posted this shows me you just skipped past my post and went straight to replying. I find it really said that this is how much the community cares about things like this. You didn't even take a moment to read one or two sentences.

Play off-meta ll you want, but if you are going to support, then support. That includes never stealing his CS.

You were taking his CS and then said, "How am I trolling? For what? Not giving you CS? Stop acting entitled".

It is his CS and he is entitled to it. If you want to support, make sure he gets every CS possible, keep their ADC from getting CS, feed him kills when you can, and keep him safe.

I don't honestly think you understand what "not playing the meta" actually means. First of all, although there is no rule that there needs to be a support in every game, if you are picking an assassin champion and going bot lane for no other reason than to take farm play as you would in mid lane, then I for one consider that griefing, and you are deliberately ruining the game for an adc that needs to get their farm early to have any impact early or late game, and you should be reported.

Not playing the meta isn't a catch all for you to do whatever it is you want with no consequences... it would be the same if you deliberately took a second mid lane just because "You don't have to have only one solo in mid lane Gais!" Not playing the meta means you are taking traditional lanes and inserting a new mechanic into it to see the outcome. Annie support with all damage items works because when she doesn't have to worry about carrying a game, all she has to do is land her combo on some people in a teamfight and then die... she has done her job as a "support" by bringing in a utility that other supports can't match. Anivia adc is an example of not playing the meta, just bringing talon into bot lane because you couldn't get mid is griefing, and as i said, ruins the experience of another player trying to play their roles correctly, and thus is a bannable offense.

That is a lot on engaging in a toxic conversation. While no individual line you spoke was toxic(some came close) the whole context of blaming another player and engaging with them made it very toxic for your team.

Very simple don't engage. Keep the talk to the game. Don't mention behaviors in chat. Stick to constructive comments. DO NOT ENGAGE.

I have one question... Did you tell your team in champion selection lobby that you were going to play Talon "support" or did you say nothing? Because that's really important, because I have seen several times a duo playing "off meta" things in botlane, but they tell us in champion select lobby so we can change the team to have a better comp.

For example, A duo played Cassio + Malzahar botlane and they told us to pick some AD. I picked Caitlyn mid and the jungler picked Rek Sai instead of Sejuani. We won that game because the enemy didn't expect it and we played as a team. It also was A LOT OF FUN :D

So everyone here is telling me that there was no way I just got an automated ban and that the reasons they listed were pretty good reasons. I post a link that reminds everyone that an automated ban system DID get rolled out a while ago and get downvoted for it? :/

I was banned exactly how the automated system is said to roll out it's bans. I got banned almost instantly (5-10 mins after the game) and it showed me a chat log with me not actually being toxic to anyone. The only thing you can even consider toxic is me telling him to stop being a spoiled brat and work with me. That's literally just one thing. Anything else there is me defending myself against the enemy team who were attacking me for by playstyle. I give you PROOF of the automated system throwing out a ban for me being toxic, racist, or verbally abusing members when it shows me not doing any of that. I don't understand. Now before anyone starts telling me how I should have chosen _____ way to play or that my choice of ______ is trolling and/or ruins it for someone else. Let me remind you for the tenth time that the automated ban's reasoning for banning me is that I was verbally abusing players in my game and the log shows otherwise. Whatever reason you want to give isn't the same as what the bot game me. It chose to ban me for something it thinks I did when it clearly shows me not doing it. PERIOD.
