Friend of mine had an ethics professor in college who said you could miss any class you wanted as long as you explained an honest reason, because it's unethical to lie, especially to an ethics professor. He once called in that he wasn't gonna show up cause he was having an amazing game of Uecker and the professor just wished him luck.
