LP Gain/Loss = Grade at the end of the game
Why not change how we gain or lose LP. For example, if someone wins a game and gets an S grade, give him MORE LP than normal. If he loses but gets an S (did that already), he loses LESS LP. This way, people will try and do their best even though they're losing, not just that, overall, giving us something more to focus on, getting a higher grade to increase our LP gain when we win or getting less LP when we lose. Thoughts?
