The jungler's job isn't to gank. It's in their best interest to, if it scores a kill for an early lead. It's in their best interest to if one is struggling to hold their own. But it isn't what they're for. You shouldn't NEED ganks to do well, nor should you need them to get you out of a jam from an over aggressive laner. Especially if you've already fed your laner and they can probably effectively score a double kill if the jungler dare threatens presence, you're especially not entitled to a gank.
Stop seeing ganks as necessary to win and start seeing them as beneficial courtesies. Take full responsibility for your lane, win or lose, and you'll have better matches.
