new ban system is interesting

im kind of impressed with riots new ban system. they are banning people not for cheating, not for afking, not even for trolling. they are banning people for being mean.

I don't necessarily agree with it. Im a big fan of freedom of speech, and if someone is raging at me it usually just makes me laugh. but it is kind of impressive because this is a decision that is directly costing riot money.

these people who get accounts permabanned will probably never buy anything from riot again. other players will be less likely to buy stuff just because they know they could get banned. and that's why it is impressive. not many companies will sacrifice $$ to try to make their game friendlier.
