Now that vekkers 
is out, one thing I noticed about him is his tentacles are a lot nicer than cass's 
tail. It bends and flows much better. Also her base skin compared to the newer jade fang skin seems very outdated. In fact as I look at other newer champs, it just doesn't hold up at all in terms of texture style matching the new look of things.
She needs one.

She's on the list, but she's pretty far down. Yeah, she's got a nasty kink in her tail.
If we were doing a real surface analysis, I'd say we could do a model/texture update to her and could call it good, but I know that our animators look at her and cringe. I have a feeling that once she is a priority, she'll be thrown out and rebuilt from scratch. New model, new rig, the whole shebang.

For me, seeing the smoothness of how vel'koz tentacles moved and the quality on their texture just made cass stand out more as needing a little love to me.

exec31 votesJust to clarify she'd essentially be the same except with newer assets right? Because I think except for her tail she looks fine, maybe her base skins needs some adjustments (not the biggest fan on the headdress especially the harsh green texture) but otherwise she's really good imo. I have Mythic Cassiopeia and I just find it hard to imagine her needing anything more than a fix to her tail.
RiotIronStylus2 votesI don't know at this point. Right now she's just literally an Egyptian-queen-looking-snake-Medusa-lady. That's pretty arbitrary. I'd like to think we could find a reason to make her look like she does, or move her in a direction that makes sense.
exec31 votesI think those are lore concerns more than anything else. Her gameplay and visuals are exceptionally strong (or at least strongly tied together)and defining imo, it's only the lore that's slightly miss aligned and that may be fixed with a better explanation for how she got transformed and what she did with herself afterwards.
IMTOOJUICY1 votesYeah, Cass's gameplay fits so well with her serpentine theme, I wouldn't want Riot to drastically change her gameplay and in-game visuals other than maybe, uh, make her ult more reliable lol. She does look a bit Egyptian compared to the rest of the Noxians, but overall she should stay as a sexy seductive temptress/spy, imo. I imagine that Noxus employs all sorts of dastardly tactics against their enemies (seduction on top of chemical warfare, brutal violence, etc).

daft inquisitor2 votesYeah, when I first learned that her and Kat were sisters, I was like, "Wait, what? How?" Her aesthetic really doesn't match up well with what she's supposed to be in the lore. She's a proper lady from Noxus, who accidentally gets transformed into a snake-lady, and she just decide to go all... Queen Of The Nile on us. It never really made sense to me.
