The attitude of this community towards Riot. Believe it or not, Riot does listen to us and they have proven that to us in the past. I think that changes are definitely warranted, I also think that people have a right to vocalize their opinion, just the way they say stuff like, "I'm quitting this game" or "Good thing Fallout4 just came out" before they have really had a chance to test the new reworks and stuff infuriates me beyond belief. Like the patch has been out for like 3 or 4 days. I doubt that anyone could've played every single champion vses yasuo in that amount of time to see if he really is that op. It's not the complaints that bother me it's the way that they complain.

THANK YOU. All these "gj rito you killed league" posts are really getting under my skin. Leave and play something else if you don't like the changes. Meanwhile the rest of us would like to discuss the game we love.

The thing is plenty of pbe players claim they've pointed out how op some stuff is and yet riot let's it go live anyways. That's pretty bad. What's the point of a pbe if you never fix what they find?

I don't even care if something that is op and gets through the pbe, what I care about is the way that players feel they need to point it out to riot in a incredibly rude way.

Players have demonstrated to Riot time and again that they're not happy with what gets through the PBE though. PBE players tell Riot the stuff they're doing isn't good for the game. It comes through anyways.

There's only so long that people in general will respond to negative behavior with constructive criticism or in an all-around positive manner. Eventually when that doesn't work people resort to being rude and bringing their message across a different way. Wasn't it Einstein who said that the definition of idiocy was repeating yourself and expecting different results?

Players have tried during preseason 5, during the juggernaut update, GPs update, Fioras rework, etc... with somewhat positive replies to what Riot has been doing and RIOT KEEPS DOING IT. They're outright ignoring their players. So some people are bound to think that Riot is of the mindset that they can do whatever they want and we'll keep playing and supporting them anyways - and since they care about the game these players are trying to make it clear to Riot that what they're doing is not okay. If constructive criticism didn't work, maybe being rude and having an uproar is the way to go.

I'm not even saying that I personally think the updates are all around bad (although parts of these updates have been awful). Simply that Riot has done a TERRIBLE job of listening to its player-base and releasing good and balanced content. The majority of the major changes recently have been COMPLETE AND TOTAL FAILURES and yet Riot ignorantly cites them as successes. Yes, Fiora is now super popular, but that's NOT a successful rework. You could give Urgot 20% max health true damage on hit and he'll instantly become "pick or ban" (or just, ban) but that wouldn't be a successful rework now, would it?

I agree to an extent that players are being unreasonable. I'd want to at least let the dust settle and try out the changes before I declare them all total failures. That said, Riot has had a bad track record for me lately, so I don't have much faith in this... and I don't need to wait for Dynamic queues to know they are a terrible idea. If it takes players being jerks to get the message to Riot that they need to stop before it's too late then so be it. We've (or they've as I've not really complained about most of these updates) been nice long enough and it's gotten us Darius/Morde/Fiora/GP/Critamere/Critsuo/ADC-aggedon/Dynamic Queues/who-knows-what-else. Maybe it's time to raise some hell?

I'm not trying to say that some of the stuff Riot has done lately isn't bad or anything, I'm not trying to say they are perfect. What I am trying to say is that we should treat them with respect.

Let me give you a real life example of what is happening; Remember when you went to school, or if you are still in school. There was always that one disruptive kid who thought he could do whatever he wanted. Right now the community is being that disruptive kid. Did that kid ever get what he wanted? No. However, did the kids who were the teachers pets and were always nice about things ever get something they wanted? Yes all the time. In fact sometimes one of the trouble makers would ask something and not get it whilst the teachers pet would ask the SAME EXACT THING. NICELY, and get what he/she wanted.

What I am trying to point out here is that sometimes repetition does work. Let me give you another scenario.

Violent protesting usually works right? And it usually works quickly. But, it leaves the authorities mad at you, and unlikely to give you things in the future. If we just protested non-violently without calling Rioters bad at their jobs every 2 seconds, maybe once in a while we would get what we wanted. I think as long as we are polite enough and get enough people to back our argument that we can win this fight without Riot hating us after. Am I wrong?
