RFE: MMR reset service

I would like to request a feature: a FULL ranked/MMR reset. Can be 1000 RP. I have this account stuck in ELO hell. Cant get it out of bronze 5 solo.

So, spent months grinding up a new account.

Finally got placements: Silver 5 2.

Bronze 5 ... Silver 2. Same and only player. See a problem here?

i would much rather have spent $10, and reset my rank on this account, than have spent months grinding that other account. So specifically, people who are stuck in lows, would probably pay to be able to fully redo ranked MMR and placements. (NOT the 'soft' reset we had at the end of S4)

Since getting MMR to work for individuals in a team game is hard , Riot, please allow for this workaround. and hey you make money from it. win/win?

You can reset your MMR already. Just win more games than you lose. The more you win than lose, the better your MMR will get.

The problem with an "MMR reset" button is that it doesn't fix any of the problems that get people "stuck" in Bronze 5. Learn how to fix your mistakes, don't rely on someone else to fix them for you.

(This is all coming from someone who has climbed out of the depths of 600 elo, basically the Bronze 5 of the Elo bracket)

I think mostly Riot would just end up with a bunch of upset Bronze players that think they are Gold but got put right back down into Bronze after paying for the reset.

I think simply setting a minimum MMR at each new season would be better (though that might not even be a good idea because it would flood Silver with actual Bronze V players as well as the ones stuck in Bronze that didn't belong there).

everyone starts and silver 5 now out of provisionals. you will derank to where you belong soon enough.
