thats a pretty normal start.
if she is doing well get a bf sword but if she doesnt got it then get statik shiv. it still gives her a huge spike in power. maybe u need to educate urself about this game before talking. stattik shiv rush is actually smart for tristana.

Well to be fair, shiv is a really popular item, she may not play ADC alot.
pickaxe into shiv is standard start on ad trist. she has no AD ratios and typically maxes E first and Q second so her midgame is mostly waveclearing.
