Sculpting/Modeling Software?

Hello,
I am currently an engineering student who has been doing a lot of work with Inventor and SolidWorks. Naturally you can model gears and pulleys for only so long before a few more....creative....projects crop up. I'm enjoying the slightly more artsy side of modeling (especially league related bits). I know there are a lot of creative people here (Rioter Art Team???) and I was wondering if anyone has had experience making League-related 3D models and by extension what software you/they suggest.

Bonus points if it can export to a CAD file, as I have access to 3D printers and a metal castings foundry.

Autodesk gives out their 3D software as well if you sign up for the student account. Current 3D animation Student

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but Blender is a free software that is at least fairly decent for doing some 3D modeling and practice. Definitely not as strong as some of the paid programs but I'd say it's pretty solid considering it's free.
