2 for 1 Rune Page Sale

I have some IP saved up and I'm planning to buy some rune pages but I'm hesitant since it's been 3 months since the last 2 for 1 sale.

Just curious, does anyone have any idea how often 2 for 1 rune page sales occur?

They aren't on a set schedule/particularly predictable. It could be twice a year or four times a year. Not often is definitely true either way.

I think the last 3 were October 2013, June 2014, and January 2015.

I definitely wouldn't count on another one rolling through between now and the holidays. It could happen, but it's not dependable. Besides, if you've got the IP, why wait? They probably won't put them on a better sale than a BOGO.
