One day Orianna went for a walk in the park.

Everyone was afraid to get near her and when they did they were sent flying into the air and then died before they made it down to the ground. When the bystanders saw this, they rushed to attack Orianna for murdering an innocent. She shielded herself and walked away with her bonus defensive stats.
