Can LOL run on a MAC?

Just curious my friend was thinking about trying this game but he has a 2 year old mac book pro.

It pretty much runs on any modern computer, just adjust the graphics in order to have at least 30 fps. (Trust me, I am THAT guy in the loading screen)
