In Diablo 3 you could run over tiny bugs, scorpions, rats so why,can't you do the same in this game? There are plenty of squirrels and insects on the map.

because diablo 3 is M rated and this game is E10+ rated. crushing little creatures is considered gory and violent.

It would make the game more realistic. How is that I move my champ over a squirrel or a beetle and it does not get squashed?

because it doesnt make the game more realistic and you're not actually walking over the squirrel. this game is 2D-isometric. 2-D meaning it's impossible to relate distance relationships as we would in our real life. you do not walk on the land because the land is a background. you slide across it. idk why you think it would be any different than when someone walks over teemo while he's invisible
