Is This Cheating?

I don't know if this is possible but could you potentially have one part of a monitor enlarged onto another? The reason for this would be to have another monitor display your minimap enlarged which would help out a lot and I want to know if this is cheating.

Here's my best representation of it in paint. Technically it wouldn't involve editing game files but would it be considered cheating still? http://i.imgur.com/xT9H20Y.png

how does one hook up multiple monitors to the same pc without the exact same image showing on both of them

As long as you're not using any third-party programs to obtain this should not be illegal because you're not attending any information that is not hopefully unavailable to anyone else. Whether or not it is actually possible to do this on the other hand is a different question

if you have the effort into setting this up not only hardware wise but software wise just put that effort into actually looking at your mini map.

I'm 90% sure that match spectating has a time delay from what's actually happening to what the spectator is seeing to prevent this sort of thing. Sure you can probably use it to detect enemy vision at best by seeing their wards, but honestly if you have to resort to this you shouldn't be playing competitive games, that and if riot somehow finds out you can consider both accounts gone.

In the strictest sense, yes, it's cheating. Consider Doublelift walking into LCS with a second monitor, setting all that stuff up, and then winning more games because of better map awareness. Nobody would ever let him do that, because it would be unfair. Any extra advantage from mods you have that other people don't is cheating.

However, people cheat way worse than this i.e. scripters, botters, maphacks, etc. I don't think anyone will really care if you do it unless there's a serious issue. If you have bad eyesight, you could even get away with saying it's an accessibility issue; your minimap's not big enough and you can't tell the details as well as someone with better vision could.

well you can already enlarge your minimap in the actual client in hud scaling so just having a larger separate minimap SHOULDN'T be a problem

though I'm not riot nor associated with them so I can't talk on their behalf, but I still don't see anything technically wrong with it.
