I don't get the joke... Throwing on puropse isn't funny?

Why is it fun to play a game, dominate the opponent but never try to win. In fact you can be 26/3/10 then at the 37 minute mark you decide to let the other team win. What is the joke? the other team thinks they pulled it out of the fire. They don't know you threw on purpose so who is the one laughing? Is the joke to laugh secretly to yourself "look at these chumps, they think they won for real." There is just one thing.... they get LP EXP and maybe a rank win. You wasted your time and and got losers points.

I don't get it. I don't even feel trolled because for most of the game you were a monster. Killing everything that moved. besides the last few minutes i was going to honor you. Is the joke on your teammates? Maybe the joke just isn't funny,

Help me out.

Ever had a game that was a complete stomp on your team? It's not fun, people don't wanna quit playing the game they are having fun in just to go into the next one which might suck ass. For some people, dragging the game out, potentially losing but having fun, is a lot better than ending it just as it was getting enjoyable and then entering a new inferior game.

its because of matchmaking.

if you win your mmr goes up and you get harder games. if you lose your mmr goes down and you get easier games.

these guys intentionally lose at the end not because they think its funny, but because they dont want to get harder games. they like going 26-3 and the best way to do that is to continue to lose.
