Just Something About This Pre-Season/Season
Alright. So I've been playing League for nearly two years and am Plat if that even matters. I didn't really believe in the meta as much during my climb last season. I've noticed that players picked a wide variety of champs last season and were able to carry games with them (I mean like I saw about 40-60 different champs being played). Now comes Pre-Season. I know things are not complete yet and people are still experimenting and such but now I see so few champs being played in the game and the same champs being played over and over during the course of 10 games. It starts to get kinda boring and I feel like more players are following the meta. I know it's not a bad thing but it just shows how somethings are not as viable anymore. One example I can bring up is Kennen top being replaced with Quinn top. Quinn is a far better lane bully than Kennen and actually can sustain once she has life steal. The only thing she lacks is an engage which Kennen has. But with the amount of terrain that players are using now with Anivia or Trundle it's difficult for him to get ontop of the enemy team.
I think I went on a small rant but I guess here's where the discussion begins. What is everyone else's opinion on Pre-Season? How many different champs have you seen and just what seems to be more viable now?
