Proof That Riot Moves Far Too slow

So I'm going to share something that may or may not get me in a little trouble (and this thread may go poof), but I'm kind of having that proverbial "up to here" moment with how slow Riot is with most of their features (in game or otherwise).

• This won't be a completely short read, so best tl:dr I can give it, worked on a project with Riot, been over 9 months since it started, I backed out because it was dragging from Riot's side specifically, and it still hasn't even been mentioned to the public, let alone completed.

So last year, some people had a chance to join a volunteer equivalent team to help Riot with what was going to be a new board section, run a bit less by Riot, and more by the "community" (or at least the group I was a part of).

I won't name the other names or call out the Rioter in charge, but I will say there were about 6-10 of us (some came and went, or didn't respond for a week at a time).

The idea was that there would be an area for all things league related, news wise, and we would help centralize all of this information here on the boards, not on Reddit, not on a third party site, or Twitter or wherever, but an actual attempt at keeping things HERE.

This was back before December this started as far as getting things together, having pretty much weekly Skype discussions and so on.

After two months, I backed out because the Rioter in charge of the project barely showed up, rarely responded, and eventually seemed to expect us to do all of the work for them. Things were going at a snail crawl with what was essentially a VERY simple plan, and I backed out because of what we needed to do but weren't getting done because Riot employees were being so ridiculously slow to implement the smallest of things.

It is now mid July, and I have not heard a single peep, and either they are still twiddling their thumbs, or the plan has since (as is par for the course at Riot) scrapped the idea altogether.

Just thoughts I would share this info from my experiences dealing directly with riot on something, because people wonder why things move so slowly, and if this experience is any example, it is because they seem anything but motivated and very organized.

This may or may not get deleted, like I said, but I felt it only fair to finally say something, as this is just an example of why I am frustrated with Riot over the past year.
