Mastering COOP: A Detailed Guide
Disclaimer: Yes Bots are easy to win. This thread isn't about winning, it is about MASTERING them. In the past 100 bot games I have played VS both beginner and intermediate bots I had the best KDA in 98 of them. Yes, I have occasionally had a diamond or platinum player but still nearly always came out with the best KDA. Below as some tips that might help you. These tips are specifically for VS beginner bots.
Champion Select Tiers
God Tier: Hybrid Champs, especially resource-less ones like Kat:

Top Tier: Bruisers, especially resource-less ones like Renekton:

What your focus should be:
- Building kills as quickly and efficiently as possible, having mana hinders that
- Being able to look low so that two bots will try to 2v1 you and win the fight (Jax, counter-strike; Riven, shield; etc.)
- Survivability, usually in form of lifesteal
Summoner Spells

Always. Do not take any others. Abuse TP and always port to a tower to shorten the CD.
Items
Manaless AP/AD (Champs like Teemo):

Mana Hungry Hybrid:

AD (for mana-hungry take Essence Reaver):

Bot Logic A few tips about bot logic before we discuss actual gameplay:
- On even health and level a bot will avoid engaging unless he has a minion advantage.
- Bots will not retreat to base unless 33% HP or lower (approximately), EVEN IF YOU ARE FULL HP
- Bot lane bots are easier to get to leave their tower protection at level 1 than top lane.
- Bots will only chase with a champion advantage (excluding minions). So, two bots will only chase 1 champion.
- Bots only take into account DAMAGE spells, not repositioning or defensive spells. In other words, a bot WILL know you can kill it with a Q-W combo and will retreat (or dodge the spells); but the bot will not think (he is going to flash, stun and shield)
- Bots will lane in a 2-1-2 formation until one lane has two towers drop. At that point they will usually send one of the other bot-top laners to change the formation to 3-1-1. If the lane gets pushed further and the inhib tower drops either ALL or at least 4 of the bots will go to that lane to stop the inhib from dropping
- There are some bugs, such as when your team is overwhelmingly stronger then theirs and are pounding on their nexus turrets sometimes bots will just go back to laning phase for seemingly no reason... There are other bugs as well but I won't list them here.
Laning Phase
- Call bot lane, see point 3 above.
- Take Sword + Pots or Amp Tome + Pots.
- Walk to lane, tell your fellow laner in chat "hide in the enemy bush and only come out AFTER I dragged them past the bush"
- Walk in front of enemy tower. Taric, Leona, or Lux bot will stun/snare you. retreat, they will follow thinking it is a 2v1.
- Your laner will jump out and preferably at least one of you can CC an enemy.
- Enjoy first blood. if needed for first or second kill, GHOST.
- DO NOT BACK until you have 1040 gold. Last hit minions or kill more, just don't back yet.
- At 1040 gold, back and finish your sword of occult or mejais (+some pots if you can afford).
- TP back to lane tower.
- Screw the minions. Get a double kill. Hell yeah, stacks are awesome.
- If you are hybrid, back at 1400 gold for mejais. Do not wait much longer, the sooner you get it, the sooner you can stack!
- Load up on health potions, go take your RED and then Blue buff.
- Dominate bot lane. Start looking for TP opportunities on other lanes as well.
- Try to push your lane the hardest. At this point you are so fed and have so many stacks you would love to have 4 bots come to your lane so you guys can 2v4 them.
- Back finish next item, go solo dragon.
- Blah blah blah, hang out in enemy base, keep killing them. When low go B, finish your items, and TP back to enemy base for a few more kills.
ABOVE ALL: DO NOT DIE!! If you die you temporarily lose over 3,000 gold worth of stats when you have 20/20 stacks or half when only AD. It is not worth even a few kills. Besides, it looks much cooler to end your match with 33/0/4 then 40/1/4.
Good luck!!
