Reported a guy for toxic and I get a notification that he was dealt with

Reported a different guy that said he was going to feed and then proceeded to continually run down lanes and die, 0-12 finish. Get no such notification. Why don't they punish trolls like they do flamers? I can mute a flamer. Trolls ruin the game experience for everyone much more since you can't make them go away like you can with people that get mad at said trolls.

its difficult for a computer to tell the difference between a feeder and a bad player. they have taught it to recognize abusives now by teaching it to look for certain phrases and so they can be punished. but there is no way for it to recognize a type of gameplay.

how many people really announce they are going to intentional feed and then do though? Is it even enough to be worth this conversation?

I mean you are right that you have to start somewhere but like I said, we already know that improvements to intentional feeder detection are coming.

Here is the best solution to feeders/toxic/afker what not. Implement low prioirty queue in all bannable offense. If someone is in fountain waiting to surrender cuz HE fed 1 kill and said gg, consider that afk and implemet low priority queue. SOmeone toxic? do the same. Someone feeds? ban him and when he comes back give him low prioirty queue. otherwise, they will continue to feed and go away scot-free. Also if this is ranked and he is guily for any bannable offense, then the LP he lost will be increased for 100% meaning if he lost 20LP thay match, then he loses another 20. This is the solution.

To clarify, my question was to ask why they don't punish trolls like they do players who "verbally abuse" they troll.

Just to be clear can you say what the difference is between 'trolls' and 'verbally abuse' -ive players ? I have my views on it but I'd like to hear yours ?

To me many times they are the same ...

I've answered. Read if you are interested.

:) I did read and may have misunderstood your post !

If the person says that they are going to fed and does exactly that then I feel like they should be punished !!

However, it must be in the context of the game such as : did the player screw up and give up 1st kill, get yelled at and then said what you posted ? If the person that "Fed" was belittled into it I have some sympathy for them ...

No One should play bad on purpose but the thing is human nature ;) People can verbally abuse someone into playing bad ...That is much different then a feeder or a troll..If you care to tell me the whole story I am interested :)

This is what I am saying. And I'm asking why they aren't.

In this I am in agreement, but did you read what I said about them being provoked ? If they were in no way prodded to just fed and they said " I will fed x-lane" then I am in complete agreement with you ...I have had this happen to me and it is annoying !!

If You have a game in which a person does say they are going to fed for no reason and you can copy paste it here then I will stand up and shout until we get someone to say something !!! I have had games such as this and don't know how to copy it ....However

Regardless, yes they just fed. My question is why are they not punished like someone that rages are? I'm not asking if you think it is annoying, just why they aren't punished.

The simple answer is: It is harder the tell if a person throws a game on purpose then it is to tell if a person is a raging 'ASS' !!!!

The fact is that MOST people will Not come on here and say their opinion ! I believe it is easier to overcome a person who is having a bad game then one who is actually just saying nasty thing to get a kick out of it...

LaceUp23: I have been on this site for longer then most realize and I see you post a bunch ...I read what you have said and I am telling you now that you are a bit harsh to people on this board!

Let me ask you a Question ? How many times have You been reported for verbal abuse ? If you answer this I will tell you how many times I have been ..K? I Believe you are about under average for reports against you ( meaning you are in good standing ) ..I think that in game you are considered a honored player more times then not ?

How often do you play with friends you know vs how often you play solo games.

SOLO games experience this stuff maybe 1 out of every 3/4 games?

I play with someone I know about 1 in 20 games. I have more then one account I use at different times and for different reasons, so yes I understand that this is rage/ trolls/feeders etc.

There is a point I'd like to make: You Don't have to be a jerk to deal with these types of players..You can even say things back to them, as long as you do so in the confines of the TOS... Just because someone makes you mad during the game doesn't make it right to make others uncomfortable by stooping to the level of being an Ass.

Back to the point of the OP...For me as with Many others "flamers" can be much worse then an intentional feeder, for one thing it can upset people and ruin the game faster and make it more likely to go on tilt...Won't bother explaining why this is I assume everyone can figure this out...Now someone who intentionally feds because they are upset and having a bad game make the experience less then stellar but your not getting cyber bulling coming from these people (usually) .

Define troll.

Some think of a troll as someone who picks off meta champions in off meta positions (Roaming, etc).

Others define it as someone who kill steals constantly (although it may not be their fault)

Others would go on to say that picking a certain champ (God forbid) is trolling (Bard Elise Galio Zilean etc.)

The fact is, A computer wouldnt be able to tell a troll from an actual player. They could be on someone else's account with a higher MMR than what they play at. They might also be trying but nobody is helping them and they die. Then they get called a troll and reported for "Trolling".

Does any of ^^seem fair to you? What if you had an off game or wanted to try something different and didnt do so well. Do you deserve to get reported? I dont think so.

LaceUp23 -- did the said player run down same lane and have a strange build path ? if so it's a botted account and Riot has addressed the issue and is trying to do something about it...I have also reported such things and assume Riot was going to fix and they have indeed tried.

Jubbinaut --I see you explain things so much more patiently then I ..just wanted to say that some people notice that you try to share your knowledge and If I notice it many more see it and don't coment ! ty
