Looking at my state, there was roughly 400,000 people who voted. Do you think that my one vote out of 400,000 significantly influenced the results? I'm looking at the statistics right now, and the closest election has about 1000 people separating it. Do you think that if I didn't vote the outcome would have been different.

"Well counties had stuff being voted on too." There, the closest race was separated by 626 votes. Over 600 people could have said "Fuck it" and the results would not have changed.

And that's not even going into how much a vote for someone/thing that lost is worth.
