What is it about this new game mode that is making people act so awkward?

Everyone seems to forget how to play on Summoner's rift suddenly, as if they've never played it.

No one has a clue what to ban suddenly I've played 5 games where we had either no jungler, no adc, or 3 people go top Suddenly no one knows what to build as if the addition of items has negated all the items that were already there

I don't get it. It is like a scientific mystery unfolding here, because there isn't THAT much changed, yet people are acting as if this is a completely out of the box, nothing similar to anything we have ever had game mode. I really don't get it O_o

What the hell people?

because people are dumb af. 15 games missing 3 more to go. it's nearly impossible to win.

whenever there is a new game mode people just want to have fun with it. so anything about the meta is straight out the window because most people have the mindset that they are playing purely for fun. so w/e they want to do they jus do it.

It's because it's blind pick. There isn't much time to call roles and it gets disorganized quick, with people instalocking and not telling you where they are going etc.

I would assume they get disoriented by the new minions or have to look through the items and decide... nah, I got nothing.

item 3165 doesnt exist. Leaving AP champs to scramble to figure out what to build and still get back to lane in a moderate amount of time

It's just really odd to me. From champ select to the end of the game, people are acting like they've never played this mode before.

I understand there are some new items, and there are these new minions, but it isn't realistically that different.

Same map Same roles same objectives Mostly same Meta

People get in game "I've never played this mode, what do I do?" to which I usually respond "it is just summoner's rift with a few slight additions". No one has any clue what champs to pick, saying they have no clue what to ban in this mode.

It isn't like 6v6 on twisted treeline or urf mode or something, just...normal old 5v5 with some new items lol I just don't get what is making people act like they've never played league of legends suddenly.

I've lost many games so far because people seem to have forgotten basic late-game knowledge. No one is grouped, no one is playing for objectives, etc.

It's quite strange.
