Small PSA About KDA and Fighting
11/18/2 Is not better than 5/5/12
12/20/5 is not better than 1/4/14
Having more kills than someone means literally nothing when you have more deaths than you have kills OR assists.
Having less deaths means you are giving less gold to the enemy team, and you are contributing by getting assists, getting kills, being on the map to get objectives.
Having double digit kills, but you are dying and getting a kill maybe every .5 times, not getting assists because you are more worried about getting kills, and NOT alive to help with objectives...you are doing BAD. Your 10-15 kills are NOT impressive when you have less than 5 assists, and have 15-20 deaths to go along with it.
Flaming your top laner for not joining in every fight you take when most are in the enemy jungle, then mocking them for having a score of 0/3, but ignoring their 15 assists while boasting about your 14 kills, while ignoring your less than 5 assists and 18 deaths, is so mind blowingly moronic, it boggles the mind. The fact I see this in nearly every game these days hurts my brain.
Sometimes NOT fighting is good. Split pushing is a strategy. Grouping as 5 in mid is not the ONLY way to play a game past 15 minutes. Your support is not the only one who should be warding and buying control wards.
These seem like very obvious things when I read them back, but it feels like at some point, if I say it enough, it might finally sink in.
