Got to gold in less then 50 ranked games

Well you got to gold BECAUSE it was your first ranked season because Riot fucked up the system good and made it that you're almost guaranteed to place higher if this is your first season than if this is your second or higher.
I went 8 and 2 in my placements and got put in silver 2

not to discredit any of your accomplishment but gold is nothing xd
if my not be much but I will continue to climb and you say it is not much but most of the people who play league are stuck in bronze and silver
Likewise. Played ranked for the first time this season and made it to Gold5 in about 30 games.
I'm quite happy that I qualified for the Victorious Skin this season.
I have been playing league since season 2 but have not started playing ranked til season 5. People made ranked out to be more terrifying then it actually was imo.
Maybe because when I went 8-2 in those games I carried the shit out of those games. And it does not matter where you place because if you are truly better then where you are placed you will rise in elo to where you belong
