Can we stop crying about how "OP" Veigar is?

He is literally the same champ he was 8 patches ago when you picked veigar and got flamed for being a "trash pick"

Him one shotting you is not a new thing. Cloud 9 winning a game with veigar didn't suddenly make him broken. All of those who are crying about veigar right now are forgetting that he NEEDS to farm his Q to be strong. Sure he scales well with items, sure he has a safer laning phase but you have to treat him like nasus. stop letting him get an easy lane and complain about him later. Freeze the lane against him, especially early he will run oom very fast using Q to farm.

It's just disappointing me that because you cant change your thought process, play differently and improve your own skills, you cry for nerfs for a champion that is a strong pick. OP? no but strong yes, every champion deserves to feel like a strong pick and like every champion he has weaknesses too. learn to exploit them.

tl;dr -- stop crying over veigar because he was picked in the lcs (because we all know if he wasnt he would still be a "trash pick") and start actually being good at this game :)

Veigar got significant buffs with AP off of assists and his W landing sooner. The thing is that he wasn't that bad before the buffs, they just pushed him over the edge to very strong. So he definitely isn't the same champ as 8 patches ago.

I have no problem with him being a late game terror. The problem is that he is stacking AP a little too fast and is reaching that point much earlier.

Thats just how this community is, so petty and pathetic that when a champ comes out that requires TEAMWORK and STRATEGY, these egotistical little children demand the champ be nerfed so they can get thier precious "Penta" and show how superior they are to the other 4 players on thier team. All they care about is "I'm the best, I got the best score, I am so OP because I got a penta! who cares about the rest of the team.

As a support I have had my contributions to the team get completely dismissed for going 1/6/19. It wasnt the 6 deaths and the 19 assists didnt even come into play. The thing that completely dismissed me as a support was...I got ONLY 1 (one) Kill! Yup, I am a bad support and dont know how to play league because I only got a single kill, even though I helped my team get fed. These kids are So full of themselves, they think the world revolves around them. No one is willing to tell them to sit down, stfu and let some air out of that swollen headmeat.

I laugh when people try and talk about how "Great" the community is. You want me to consider your community great. start slapping around these arrogant P.O.S's and stop feeding into thier ego. But as I said, The end result is this: They DONT WANT a challenge, they dont want to deal with any champ that requires you to think around how they work. They would rather just whine and complain and throw a tantrum so the champion is nerfed to the point they attack you with marshmallows. Its all about them feeling superior to anyone else. Having to work TOGETHER with thier team? Nah, that takes the spotlight away from THEM.

Thats why they cry Veigar is OP. They want him to be nerfed so they DONT NEED A TEAM to take him down.

Except hes probably the only champ in the game with a targeted nuke that scales of YOUR AP! I wouldnt care if it was skill shot, or whatever, but all he has to do is stun you with his hugeass perimeter and then click on you. And then you get the lovely grey screen. Banshees is unreliable because he can bait it with Q, and his ult travel time is so fast (and you are usually stunned) so you cant really Zhonya out of it. In what meta is this fair to the enemy?

You're preaching to a community who, at current, thinks an entirely skill-shot, combo-based mage is OP because she can 100 - 0 someone late game if she lands her entire combo. Which, again, is entirely skill-shot based and includes weaving in auto-attacks in between spellcasts to get off her passive for maximum damage.

Chances are these are the same people who think Blitzcrank is OP because they can't dodge his hook, or want to nerf Nidalee because they keep dying to a max-range spear.

There is no logical thinking in them when it comes to balance. Literally, ONE, of multiple different items you can build can invalidate Veigar or cut his damage down to where he can't burst you. If he can't do that he's useless to his team. They want to make him useless to his team without having to do any of their own thinking, counter-building, or game mechanics of dodging skillshots.

My god, doesn't anyone on the internet care about how their typing looks. Look at his nerfs. The nerfs are solely a chunk out of base damage for his q and w. They are making it harder for you to farm for that first chunk of AP. It won't even be that bad. His late game will still be amazing.
