I miss Dawngate.
I miss Zeri. I miss Power. I miss Pursuit.
:(
I wish League were more like Dawngate. Colorful and diverse and new and fun :D
The Marksmen rework changed little about Marksmen, really. It's just them with crit now and some guys that aren't played anyways got an update. Oh and BotRK is niche now.
Some of the Keystone Masteries I wish could have been items instead. Masteries feel very A or B, you know?
Boots are weird.
The new Trinkets are cool, but I hate being punished because other players can't remember to upgrade theirs.
Mages feel boring. Their items are soo expensive. I can't wait for their update, assuming it makes Mana interesting. No wonder Mages are buying Support items.
Nobody cares about Assassins. They aren't actually OP or broken, they will just always be anti-fun for one party involved. Would you like being assassinated? Would you like being useless? Items for them are good, though. There should be more items and items for every class, role and champion. It will cause an uproar though and a lot of threads complaining about Assassins being OP just because people don't know how to play against a suddenly popular role. Riot should make tutorials about things like that.
There hasn't been a thread about Yasuo in for too long. Suspicious.
The new Jungle item isn't going to change anything but make Fiddle viable and spawn a bunch of Break the Meta Karthus Jungle videos. Afterwards it'll just exist again. You could keep Runeglaive. It wouldn't bother anyone.
Brand is and will be a thing. I wonder how that works. His kit isn't healthy. Other Mages' kits are somewhat, and they went down the popularity drain. Not fair.
Magic Penetration is OP now and nobody's noticed yet, I think. Mages can easily deal true damage. Bard Supp can kill Marksmen with 2 Meeps and a Q. In all my games with him I deal the most damage.
Runes are "boring" in comparison to all the new things Riot has been bringing out recently, like the new Masteries. I've racked my brain but I can't come up with anything to replace them. I hope Riot will.
Turrets are still boring but the buff Riot gave them evened things out a bit so that's OK, I guess. I still want my Stormwarden.
Lifesteal and Spell Vamp are weird, now. I like the concept but they irritate me because I can't make them work on every champion.
I miss AP Cait now during the Snowdown. And AP Poppy. Poppy is great, by the way. I love what Riot did with her kit.
With all the changes, Deathfire Touch and Thunderlord's -- and Keystones in general -- have become bland. Before Masteries were unbalanced and blatantly favored one role or champion over another. Now it doesn't really matter which one you pick as long as you have something in your kit that makes it work. Heimer's rockets proc Thunderlord's on their own. Afterwards he's back to 20 seconds of Mastery Boredom. Or he hits them and deals 12 bonus damage over 2 seconds with Deathfire Touch. Most of the Keystone Masteries could have been items. My Vampire Tank fantasy with Grasp of the Undying doesn't feel very tanky or vampire-y. The Masteries in general don't feel very tanky.
Tenacity was nerfed, so why isn't there more of it yet? You can put it on items more easily now, I assume.
Why is there only a Cull item for Marksmen? Other roles like to turtle out lane, too. Bring back Heart of Gold as Tank-Cull.
I don't understand why Mejai's was favored over Sword of the Occult. I know there are reasons, but I don't get them.
Refillable Potion only works on Top Laners and Junglers. I don't know if that is good or not. I wouldn't want to force it down other roles' throats, but weren't Mages supposed to get Corrupting Potion for Mana?
Boots are still weird. I know I've already said that, but I just want to put extra emphasis on the fact that they are.
Mages don't need Sorcerer's Shoes for true damage, by the way. Precision or Piercing Thoughts, Runes and all the other stuff is enough. Most Carries only have 30 to 42 MR anyways.
Why does Armor scale individually but Magic Resistance not? Why do Marksmen have scaling Armor in the first place? Why do Caster Minions deal physical damage? I assume they deal most of the damage champions receive -- we need better statistics. Can I look this up somewhere? -- but even so ... they're casters. Mages should deal magic damage on hit, too. Ability Power could be just like Attack Damage.
Can Riot buy Zeri?
And implement a nerfed Netherstride Grimoire that steals Movement Speed? But it should have like Health and stuff so Supports can buy it ... like a Haunting Guise upgrade. But Haunting Guise is too expensive.
15 Magic Penetration is too powerful. 10 Magic Penetration is too weak. Serated Dirk is weak because Armor scales unlike Magic Resistance. Maw of Malmortius is, too, because of that reason. Would percentgae base Armor not be better?
There are too many champions. A dozen or so are always in the spotlight and another dozen are always the "forgotten", but most people don't even think about the other hundred champions. I haven't seen a Jarvan in ages. Is he strong? Is he weak? Nobody will ever know. That's the problem with a constantly increasing champion pool, I guess. One of its problems, at least.
Trundle should be a stat-vampire even more so than he is now. It's like a side-identity but it could be a co-identity.
Vampiric Scepter should cost less than five hundred gold so people can start with it again. Choosing sustain is just as valid a choice and commitment as choosing damage and an aggressive early game pattern. Choosing not to risk Baron is just as decisive as choosing to. Riot's action-hungry. Everything needs to be AoE and flashy. Simple things can be nice, too. But they need to be nurtured.
Tear of the Goddess is inhibiting Mana's potential in itemisation. Remove it and see what you can come up with, then. It'll be loads. Riot is creative, after all. And a bit crazy. I wonder if they take drugs.
Dominion deserves some attention. It's UI/HUD (I don't know the difference) is just hurtful.
Zz' Rot's Portal is the coolest item there is. Riot should use it and its power as template for what every other item should be. Rapid Firecannon made it. Statikk Shiv did not, but only almost. Maybe 6 items slots are too many. If there were only 5 items would have a higher budget to be interesting and more well-rounded. I'd like to see 5 items slots and free-but-nerfed boots. But that would punish players who know how to use boots. I'm such a Hypocrite. Trinkets are way to complicated anyways. Dawngate's One-Ward-every-180-seconds worked just fine.
Giant Slayer doesn't slay Giants, but everyone. Marksmen have the least Health. Sightstone offers Health. You could make it increasingly more damage, like Essence Reaver, or have it have a certain effect against people above X Health, like Warmog's. But bonus Armor Pen isn't that strong anyways, so I doubt it matters.
Shaco's traps still don't proc the currently-strong Ability Power Support item.
Your ability descriptions are all over the place.
I like how you're buffing the alternative Sightstones.
I have no idea which grants how much Health on Strength of the Ages. I'm pretty sure tool-tip and in-game effect are switched anyways.
Threads that have one or more downvotes get way less views than threads with no up or downvotes at all. Downvotes are stronger than upvotes.
I'm sad when I get downvoted.
