Riot, Any News On The Crafting System?

This was shown on S6's debut with the ADC changes, a whole crafting system that was to promote free skins and other cool features. Just wanted to put it out there, that I havent seen any conversation about it, it says that you guys plan to keep us updated so I was just curious if you could tell us how progress on it is going? Or have you guys decided to scrap it? (Hopefully not, I really want this)
