Is this really how ranked is?

Just did my provisional games. Got silver 3. Probably would have had a chance to do better except that my bot lane literally went 3-34 between my last 2 games. 3 and fucking 34. How? Doesn't really seem to represent my rank when our Cait dies 5 times in the first 8 mins of the game to the enemy Vayne -_-

Try feeding less. It's one thing to go 3/3 and your entire team feeds 10 kills, but feeding 17 kills in a game really shows that you're making major mistakes.

You probably won't be in your correct place in ranked until after about 50-100 games anyway. Placements matches are just feelers for where you should start but your LP gains will be one sided for a while still.

Happened to me when i finished my placements for this season. Placed in s3 but gained like ~30 LP per win and lost ~8 per lost.

It is, unfortunately. Snowball nature of the game - if there's a skill imbalance anywhere it will look really bad quite quickly.

The idea with climbing ranked is to win the close ones, so it requires a lot of games to climb. Like let's say, 25% of games are stomps in your favour, 25% are stomps against you, and 50% actually give you the chance to make the difference. Your play in those games will determine whether you climb or not (alongside timing of the other 50%, consistently getting the stomp-against in your promos could really slow you down).

You weren't even ranked last season, you probably got ranked higher then you should Silver III on someone with only about 400 games played. Not to be rude or anything. But you probably belong around the Bronze II-IV Level. But prove me wrong :)

Silver 3 is not a bad place to be placed.

Better than being placed in Bronze.
