So, if you have been following the drama llama that is XiaoWeiXiao and his Elo boosting and banning from the LCS you'll see alot of crazy stuff has been going in.

While reading the above artical though Riot explained what an "LCS Unlocked account" is and how XWX tried to sell his TL:DR its an account that is given to LCS participants that has EVERYTHING unlocked on it. And if they literally mean EVERYTHING then that also means Legacy, Championship, Limited time and victorious skins, all runes, all rune pages, all icons, all champions, all ward skins, literally everything.

Maaan, if you ask me that seems a little unfair, I mean LCS players are already getting big money and big fame just for being the best of the best, It kinda feels like Riot just took even more money and threw it at some of the richest men in the world (Metaphorically speaking)

I'm a bit jelly.

Its plenty fair. Those accounts are meant for the pros to use in front of an audience to show case riots wares and make sure that no team has an advantage simply because an champion or rune was not purchased by one player. They are just paying for advertising...pros dont pay for their uniforms right?

Well they get unlocked accounts so they're able to practice whatever they need to in order to compete in the game, Riot makes plenty of money off them through the LCS and Esports as whole, so it's worth them getting free everything on the account to be able to do what they need to do to play properly.

It sucks for us normal scrubs, but it makes smart business sense.

It's the same for the PBE. I use it when I want to see how certain skins affect gameplay.

TSM The Odd One said in stream they only have the normal skins unlocked, the skins that are available to anyone at anytime to buy. Legacy Skins and seasonal skins, they have to buy themselves.
