A wonderful message that one of my fellow Summoners sent me
Do we ever realize that another human being is behind the other screen and has their own obstacles in life to deal with?

Some people are just pieces of shit. There ain't much any of us can do about that other than just try to ignore it and move on.
The last game I played yesterday, I had this one toxic flaming Annie in my team, constantly being negative about everything and spamming surrender votes that always ended up in 1 yes, 4 no. It was a normal game, not ranked. We were all having fun, us and the enemy team, at the exception of that one Annie. After a while of his/her constant toxicity, I told him/her to "stfu, we're having fun, this is a normal game, stop being so negative" or something along those lines. And then, he/she went downright suicidal on us, telling us how his/her life sucks and all that and he didn't care about getting banned because of it. Told him/her to go see a psychologist.
I may sound like a heartless asshole, but I seriously don't care about other people problems when I'm playing a video game. And when they become toxic because of it, it really makes the game less enjoyable for everyone. I don't need that kind of negativity and like you said, we all have our own obstacles in life to deal with.
