That moment when you get stuck with a premade group that insists on screwing around and saying "stop playing seriously, it's normals, you tryhard", won't let you surrender, and reports you because "he's ruining our fun by trying to play seriously!"
I either want to use my old Custom Kick hack from my DotA days, or I want them to end up dead somehow... Preferably the latter.
Cerbearus4 votesOr, if you want to play seriously, play ranked. TB and normals are purely for fucking around and nothing comes from winning except slightly more ip. Sure nobody likes to lose, but honestly I have more fun losing while fucking around than winning while playing seriously.
No I am not going to report people for playing seriously. And more often than not people in normal games are playing champs for the first/second time so there is no real merit in winning/losing to them.
Ranked is mostly tryhards but that is a very stressful and not very fun environment for most people.

Normals are for a less-competitive (but still pretty competitive) environment, so if you lose the only thing that gets hurt is your ego (instead of your elo/ranking). It's a legitimate competitive match and should be treated as such, there's a reason you can report bad behavior in a normals game.
I had to stop playing ranked because my working only allowed me enough time to play LoL once every 2 weeks (on average, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter). So playing ranked was futile, so I started playing normals, and it's upsetting when you get teams with your shitty mentality.. Just using normals to fuck around.
Custom games are for fucking around. It is just a game, but ruining other people's entertainment in normals just because you have loads of options and hours to waste is bullshit behavior.
Cerbearus2 votesNormals always have been and always will be a queue for blowing off steam (much like Dominion and ARAM). After going on a losing streak or something in ranked you just want to have fun for once and a normal game is 2 clicks away and a very fast queue time (I personally love Dominion but those queue times get long sometimes). I love when I get into lobby for a normal game and everyone spontaneously decides to all mid with pushing champs. We may lose miserably, but we had fun in the process. People forget sometimes that games aren't all about winning and having fun is important too.
