Trying new things is bad apparently

I say this because today I was in TB and this guy came in as our Jungler. He specifically made it clear that he was new to the role but he'd try his best. He got kicked as soon as he said it. This has happened before, and frankly I find it stupid. If someone is new to a champion or role and they don't want you to get your hopes up, the least you can do is let the person stay and get the practice because I'm sure you were the same when you first tried something different from what you normally do. This is actually why I own Karthus but have only played him twice. Also it's not like I can just be silent and let them think I'm fairly competent because if I get owned in lane, then there's always one person that's going to be a jackass about it. And please don't tell me that's what Bots are for. Bots can only do so much.

Dude this community is cancer and needs to be eradicated. People in TB leave if they don't see 100% meta shit even thought they have no idea what the meta is because they're all sub-gold. Isn't it ironic lmfao.

I can see both sides of it. I agree that that people should be more lenient towards this kind of thing, especially since everyone has done it. But its easy to see why people don't want to intentionally subject themselves to it. Especially for veterans who feel they have already done their share of carrying.

Realistically though its probably best for everyone. Those people who kick you are probably pretty likely to be hyper critical if they were forced to continue. Might as well wait for people who don't mind.

this actually happened with me once i said it was my first game as malzahar and they kicked me how do you expect me to do my first game if you dont allow me to?

First off. Him kicking a guy who's new to the role is just perfectly fine. The guy who made the lobby just wants to win with a jg that knows what he's doing. That's perfectly k. That guy doesn't wanna babysit him all game and just wants a normal game.

That's the point of teambuilder, people can cherrypcik who they want to play with. I wish people were a bit more lenient, but that's why TB exists.

Or you can do what I do and One-Trick-Pony Gnar Vayne and LeBlanc. Literally all I play. Forced to Mid? LeBlanc! LeBlanc banned? Gnar mid! Forced to jungle? Gnar jungle! Forced to support? Gnar or LeBlanc Support! Forced to ADC? Vayne! And of course just normal Toplane Gnar. It works no matter what!

Blind pick is where you practice things you dont know.....

Not teambuilder

People are trying to build a good team in teambuilder, so its not their fault if they want the best team. I usually only do blind pick with a champ I wanna try because I get to try it compeitivly.
