What benefit are we getting from gangplank being disabled? if he's available to be played in competitive, why are pros not allowed to practice him in solo queue? Why is lore suddenly part of the game when it hurts players? Please explain why you have done this.

And if there is absolutely no bug, then you mean to tell me you guys are actually disabling a champion going on 4 days because of no actual reason, because that's dumb lol.

He just got reworked, then you disable him due to an event, while also releasing a pirate themed gamemode, but disabling the main pirate in the game.

I really hope you are lying right now, because I don't want to believe you guys would disable a champion just because, especially for this long. That is completely ridiculous and I can't take that seriously at all. Especially since I would like to...play the champion. <_<

Hey you know how we have been asking for better lore? Disabling a champion a week after you rework him isn't a good way to deliver upon that lore

This was a cute interaction with GP's "death" but it shouldn't have lasted more than a day or two. Enough is enough, re-enable him like we all know you will after you reveal in Act 4 (or however you want to go about it) that's he's actually alive so those who want to play him, can again, particularly in the current featured game mode that won't be around forever.

It feels so disingenuous all the Rioters putting on this act that GP is dead (not to mention you all pretending to act surprised) which actually goes against your desire to tell stories (can't tell stories without characters, can't get people interested if their fave champs are gone, and can't have interesting stories without conflict so if you're serious about a good story then MF won't just autowin like you're making her out to right now).

And no i'm not a fan, i'm just shocked that you guys are letting lore, something i'm sure Rioters have proclaimed the vast majority of people don't care about, affect the game in such a negative way. Wasn't the mass IoW retcon specifically to decouple lore from gameplay? I guess in a way i'm concerned that you might just be poker-facing this and that GP dieing is intended which is just a bone-headed move, you waste your time revamping the characters lore only to kill him before we have any meaningful stories about him. Not to mention you can't possibly intend to keep him banned forever for countless reason I won't waste my time listing, plus when you do unban him and GP is still dead that will just lessen people's interest in even playing him as if I cared for lore I wouldn't be nearly as interested in playing a champ who no longer exists anymore.

Riot a year ago: "We removed the League of Legends/IoW/Summoners from the game because it made it hard to tell stories. Summoner's Rift is no longer canon, it's just a battle arena similar to fighting games like Smash Bros"

Lost a lot of respect for Riot from the way you are going about this.

I like the lore interacting with the game, even if you cant play Gankplank for a bit.

This was a cool lore tie-in experiment, and I appreciate Riot making such a bold move. Clearly, it hasn't been taken well. I trust that the reception to all aspects of this event will inform future events.

As someone who own all GP skins, I woul like a refund please. I paid for something and didn't get to use it.
