If I 99-0 someone and they get away only to be jinx ulted 10 seconds later why should I get no assist? This didn't happen however very similar situations always do happen, starving out someone who might take a hit for the team, assists need to be more recognizable as sometimes it's plain silly, I'm sure we've all had this issue :(
The system actually gives you a long time relative to other seasons as far as how long you have to obtain assists. I see no issue with the way it is...
It's an issue more of balance than recognition, isn't it? The game is snowbally enough.
Look at it this way as well. Players shouldn't be overly punished for making the correct call to disengage from a fight at the correct point where they can still survive, only to be caught by an assassin going deep or a sniper. The enemy team doesn't need that additional advantage just out of virtue of running one of these kinds of champions.
