Can we talk about the Season 5 ranked icons on the Boards?
I'm aware this is a pretty small thing, and I probably shouldn't even be making a thread about it, but it just bothers me that such a clearly low effort aesthetic was introduced to the Boards. I'm disappointed in Riot on this one, despite how tiny an issue it seems to be.
In previous seasons, custom icons were designed specifically for the Boards. They have a reasonably consistent size, an aesthetic consistent with the client versions, and, most importantly, look like they were actually meant to go on the platform.
For comparison, here's a screenshot of my profile, showing the Season 3, 4, and 5 Gold ranked icons:

Unlike the previous icons, the Season 5 ranked icon is literally just a copy paste of the in-client ranked Summoner Icon that was awarded to players at the completion of the season. Not only does it not even remotely match the aesthetic or size of previous Boards icons, it still has the black border thing from the original icon. For those of you not familiar with the boards, there is nowhere on the entire platform where the background behind that icon is black, so it ends up looking really out of place.
Am I saying this is a huge issue? No, not necessarily, I just wanted to see if anyone else felt the same way about it. It honestly feels to me like Riot decided to just release the fastest thing they could possibly produce rather than taking a few minutes to produce a product that matches the quality of previous icons, and I'm really hoping this doesn't become a trend.
