[Idea] Morgana Ult

So Morgana's ult has always bugged me ever since Varus came out. Sure they have slight differences, Morg's procs all at once, Varus' is ranged, Morg's can move with her, etc.. But one thing I've always thought is why ever pick Morg for her ult when you can pick Varus? (Besides picking Jinx instead, of course)

In other words, I personally think Morg's ult should have a bit of a change because it's the majority of her damage and it's a lot more avoidable than Varus' (He presumably snares at least one person). So what if we tone down the initial AOE range(chains break at same distance) and allow the ult to be cast on (originate from) allies? This means you can still self cast for the zhonyas just like before but you can also ult a bruiser for a the team-wide cc that Morg was meant to do.

Why would a multiple cc snare do if cast on allies? that makes absolutely no sense to me at all... Her ult is made for you to get into a group of people ult and then zhonyas to avoid dying the allow the ult to finish and stun their team so your team can take them out... Why would you wanna do that to allies?

having to dive them with her ult is the only thing that makes her vulnerable. she has the longest cc single target cc in the game with a cd that isn't too long, her ult instantly chains to them and slows them, and all you have to do is keep them in range. she has a very strong shield that though it only blocks magic damage, it makes her spell immune. varus ult is a skillshot with a deceivingly small impact radius. it is a pretty short root (that's another thing, morganas actually stuns his just roots), and though it has a longer chain range than morgana's, it must hit the first target to hit any at all. morgana ult doesn't need touched, and its stronger than varus ult. if they made it so she could cast it on allies, it would be almost literally impossible to kill her if your team had any peel whatsoever and knew how to use it. she could just sit in the back without a care in the world.
