What if Riot were to work with Arc System Works to make a League fighting game?

Yes, I know about League of Fighters, but that's not being done by a professional game studio. Team Instaburst is a small crew without any prior releases.

Watching a lot of Blazblue, I thought "What if these guys made a LoL-based fighting game?"

Now, before you say "COPYRIGHT!", just humor the idea for a moment. Imagine a fast-paced fighting game by the guys behind Guilty Gear, starring Champions like Vi, MissFortune, Leona, Zed, Jayce, etc. Tons of combos, counter-hits, super moves, and flashy finishers (think of Vi piledriving someone into the ground and leaving a huge crater).

Now that would be fun!

Don't ask me how it'd work mechanically, though. I was never good at Street Fighter and the like.

Im sorry I don't think League should cross over just yet. It seems they're having great success in the computer gaming world and with all the new additions, I don't think would be wise just yet. Everyone Ive introduced to league so far is hooked.

It's been going for 5 years. Riot even said they want to be known as "Riot Games, not Riot Game". (Can't remember who said that.)

Oh, well if Riot feels like it would be a good investment then they should just go ahead. I just think If Riot makes another game if should be separate from LOL. Maybe some references, but not a whole other game genre with the same characters.

Why not? It'd be a lot less work using established characters. If it's a story issue, just make it an AU thing.

I don't know. I could work, it's just kind of skeptical making two games around the same story. People will buy it, don't get me wrong. But will they truly accept the game for what it is. The only time I seen that did something like that was with Mario.
