Why does the dodge timer go up so fast?

I play a lot of League, so I play a lot of games every day. Today I got paired with 6 4 man sets doing that stupid ultimate bravery challenge, I dodged them because I have run into it in the past and they always feed horribly. I feel like every game I play should reduce the timer by something like 10-20%, because going from 5 to 15 etc really starts to aggravate me when I have quite a few games in between my dodges (this is in normals). I refuse to waste 50 minutes playing a game that I cant win, but these timers are almost as bad. And please don't say its normals who cares? Because I don't think that spending an hour trying to carry a lost cause is very fun for me.

Or you could not dodge.

Personally, I feel like repeated dodging needs a harsher timer. If you need to dodge more than once or twice in a single day, then you probably should just play a different game mode or just not at all. Being more lenient with dodge timers will only cause more people to frequently dodge whenever they feel out-picked or because they don't like the champion someone wants to play. It becomes frustrating when games take a long time to start because of multiple dodges.

The reason the timer is there is because Riot does not want you dodging their AFK/FEEDER troll bots. It messes the algorithm.

For instance, one day Riot tried to match me with a self-admitted troll who was sure to be high, feed, and/or go afk one of their automated troll bots . Well I dodged him it 3 times and finally just gave up and went to bed.

The next day, I started up League and what do you know, the same troll is with me in Champ Select. You see Riot only has a limited amount of AFK troll bots with which to ruin people's games with as there is such a high demand.
