Dnymic Queue Alone Isn't The Problem. Premades Are The Problem
I already see the people ready to pour in downvoting before they even read this, but hear me out before you think I'm defending Dynamic Queue or anything of that nature.
Dynamic Queue at its core is not a problem, and when you put it on paper, it is actually a good idea in theory. To elaborate, it could be good for "clubs" and so on for three people to group. This could be good, but more than three I can't agree would be a good thing.
Now, to explain the title, the premades are usually the issue in this game because, they are rarely strangers, and usually people that know each other rl or have known each other a long time in game. I find far more often than not that the premades come in with this feeling of "well we are friends, so we are the important ones" and it instantly throws ALL team work out the window outside of their clique.
Far too often I see people in buddy queue trying to make their own meta between their friends, and ignore team comps, refuse to gank other lanes that aren't their premade, rage at people that do something and start ganging up on people, and just act as if they are more important than the team. I've not played a game today that didn't have a premade on both teams (last game was a 4 man premade and a 3 man premade on my team). It was the most toxic all chat, team chat, and after game I've ever seen. Not at each other, no no, at all 3 of us that weren't in a premade.
From the start of the game, their mentality is instantly different, and I know because I used to go into games thinking that it was me and my friends...oh yeah and the other guys too, in normals. You ARE less important to the premade, which means they are less likely to help you, save you over a friend that did something stupid, and god forbid they have the jungle, you will literally never see a gank.
tl;dr I know I'm generalizing here, but the premades specifically and their attitude towards those not in their premade are the real frustration of Dynamic Queue for me, not just the idea of the Queue itself. I don't by any means like Dynamic Queue, but the system isn't 100% as flawed as the mob mentality of the premades and the power they gain on many different levels.
