Proposal: The East Coast Challenge

A challenge for only the best of the best, with the shiniest of ranks!

The contender is placed on a team of mid silver ranked players, and he and his team must defeat a team of mid gold ranked players. Seems easy enough for a diamond/master/challenger player right?

WRONG. During the challenge, the contender will have no less than 120 ping, and he will lag out for periods of 15 seconds every 3 minutes. Who could possibly surmount this challenge? Who will dare attempt it? AND WHO WILL OVERCOME ALL AND WIN?
