Detailed strategy as to how not to get raged at in League (ranked specificially)
I only used ranked because you see a lot more raging in it than normal games.
Step 1: Don't play a champ in ranked you've never played before. This is just stupid.
Step 2: Don't play an "off-meta" thingy if you've never tried the champ in that role. Just because you have played 3 games with Teemo top doesn't mean you should try Teemo jungle.
Step 3: Don't intentionally feed. Should go without saying.
Step 4: Don't try to 1v1 your lane enemy if they are 3 kills and 40 cs up on you. I, and many others, don't care that you lost your lane. But don't be dumb enough to just sit there and keep trying to battle the enemy for no reason. You know that you will die, don't pretend that you don't. I can deal with a 2-0 enemy mid laner that has 100 cs at 15 mins. I can't deal with a 6-0 enemy mid laner that has 135 cs at 15 mins because they were able to free farm while you had an affair with the death timer.
Step 5: If all else fails, USE THE DAMN MUTE BUTTON. I don't understand how people don't understand what this does. Someone being a dick to you? Mute them. Boom. Simple. Pings exist for a reason. This one only applies to a select few people though, like the 10 year old that just got his call of duty taken away from him. Most the times you are getting raged at because you didn't follow steps 1-4. Don't troll and then whine on boards that someone was mean to you. That doesn't make much sense, does it?
