Question About Pick Rates in Elos
I see a lot of arguments on both sides saying a champion is OP and then having it countered or substantiated with pick rate percentages in high and low Elos. My question is: Do people not take into account that the reason certain "generally considered" OP champions having low pick rates in High Elo is simply because those champions are not good in team compositions? So that could then leave those champions to still be OP but just simply be not chosen because there is better team work as compared to lower Elos which would mitigate any snowballing by an OP champ that lower Elos have trouble with?
As an aside: I feel like people need to take a stats class to understand the meaning of statistics and percentages thrown around. That goes for those that argue with and against them.
