Hitting One's Peak as a Player

I dunno, this idea was something that came to me somewhat randomly after a, decidedly, very bad losing streak. Granted, my level is probably around low gold, and I was playing with my plat friends, but still.

Is it a thing to, like, hit my "peak", so to speak, as a player? Hit a wall in the growth of either skill, or skillsets, or both, whatever. It feels like you're no longer improving when playing the game, and what ends up happening is either a) you just flat out lose all the time or b) you completely stomp your matches

I feel like I haven't played a very evenly matched game in such a long time. It feels like either everyone's either much better or much worse than me, with very little middle ground.

Is it the fault of Dynamic Queue? Is it because I've always been a shitty player and I just got carried? Is it the meta changing to something I'm not good at?

I might just be venting after a tilt-inducing series of matches, and it's very possible I just haven't realized it yet

But whatever. I'll act now and think about (and probably regret it) later.

What do y'all think?
