"New" Computer Setup Help?

I've been planning this for a while. Basically, I play League on a 3-5 year old laptop (read: toaster) but I have a (probably older) PC that I would like to run it on instead. I have most of it planned out: Get long ethernet cable, relocate PC to room, get $15 logitech laptop-like keyboard, enjoy league on settings other than very low/with fps higher than 15-40. Sounds great (as far as I know, I don't know, i'm pretty stupid.)

The only problem is, my room as well as 3 other rooms are all on one single circuit. What would be the best way to fix this? I was thinking that we could put my room on a separate, less used circuit. Second question, would it even be worth it? Should I just buy a new laptop? Should I just build my own computer? (Note I'm 17 and have never built anything techy before.) Any help/links to help would be greatly appreciated. ありがとう ございます

So a few questions,

  1. How powerful are you making this new comp?

  2. Whats the power draw like in other rooms?

  3. How willing are you to drop money on rewiring your house?

  4. What's your budget here?

If you shop wisely, you can put together a system that will run BF4 on Ultra for $550, not including peripherals. My suggestion is to watch different websites for deals, take a look at http://woot.com if you're looking to buy a system that's already put together. They always have deals on electronics, but I don't think I've seen components there ever other than HDDs and SSDs.
